Counterblast Lancers Faction starter set and reveiw

COUNTERBLAST Adventure Battle Game, is a great fun pulp-inspired science fiction tabletop skirmish battle game for 28-32mm miniatures. COUNTERBLAST takes place in a setting of classic pulp sci-fi adventure with fast paced action and cinematic thrills, evocative of the serials that captivated the imagination of previous generations.

Today we are going to look at the Lancers faction core starter set.

Survive and prosper in a dangerous galaxy to keep flyin' with a Lancer Faction Core Set! Each Lancer core set will include: 1 Shrinaar Captain, 1 Alanti Lanceguard, 1 Human Plugger, 1 Illyrian Plugger, 1 Human Brute, and 1 HOpR Bot.

Lets take a look in the box.....

 The models come packed in a nice clamshell with foam to keep them safe.

 They also come with all the bases you will need for your figures.

 You get 6 figures in the set, all metal, and bar the droid all one piece.

 The models in this box are of plenty of varied alien races, so there is a ton of character and detail to each model.

 I love the classic sci fi look fo the human female crewman

 As you can see, there is only minimal cleanup required for the models, and tons of detail.

 The fact you have a giant walking shark with a massive gun makes this set just awesome!

 The bot is the only model you need to assemble, he does not have any instructions, but its fairly easy to figure out where the parts go, and I think he is a great looking little guy.

 The models look good fro each angle, with detail and character the more you look at them.

The amount of options in this set, for races, and the way you can paint them as they are all different is a great idea.  for a project this set will keep you going with so much variety to paint.
