I'm not sure what has drawn me back into the 40k hobby. Was it firing up Dawn of War Soulstorm? The myriad of podcasts out there (holy crap there are a ton)? The fact that Sisters of Battle got fancy new miniatures?
Yes, yes, aaaand yes.
I'm throwing in my lot with the Sisters (Sacred Rose) and Necrons. Completely skipping Dark Angels. I feel like it's time for me to lean into trying something that isn't yet another Marine force on the tables. And now I've got a place with lots of space, a permanent hobby work table isn't out of the question. While there is no garage, there is a basement, which is the next best thing.
I got the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine this past weekend, and am looking forward to rolling dice again.
