remove an annoying enemy upgrade when I need to. Korax provides some crew killing power. Photon torpedoes provide a bit more of a long range punch for the ship, and worth it for 3 points.
Lastly we have the Projected Stasis Field, which can drop an enemy shields, and stop it from firing.
This is a good ship when used in a squadron with support, it has relatively high captain skill, you can hit an enemy early with the stasis field, and let your other ships pummel it into submission. Its a very exciting tactic to try out, and used with other supporting Klingon upgrades like Gowron providing a plus one to all Klingons in range, you should be able to pick out a ship and rip it apart before moving onto the next one.
